i baked a lot!!!!
well, i been a bit quiet on here for a few days, that’s because i been baking like crazy. I had my first commission for a birthday cake. I made a lemon curd layer cake with sugar craft flowers adorning the side.
It was also a friend’s birthday so i made her her favourite cake - coffee and walnut, i also made lemon whoopie pies with vanilla buttercream.
Then i had a go at making blondies, which went rather well. They were very tasty and went down a right treat at our friends bbq. I think i am going to experiment with the added extras, i made them with choc chunks and hazelnuts. I think sour cherries and choc chunks will work well too…
oh yeah i also made lemoncurd as a gift and also to go in and on a cake i am making for a rather special lady (sssh my mum) birthday. pictures of that cake to come soon.
