summer, hello!
here a few little things that make me happy that it’s summer time… tasty organic fruit and veg from our veg box(riverford) homemade meringues with summer fruits, and beautiful peonies
i baked a lot!!!!
well, i been a bit quiet on here for a few days, that’s because i been baking like crazy. I had my first commission for a birthday cake. I made a lemon curd layer cake with sugar craft flowers adorning the side.
It was also a friend’s birthday so i made her her favourite cake - coffee and walnut, i also made lemon whoopie pies with vanilla buttercream.

My lovely friend gogolili ( a very talented hairdresser) and i had a great day the other day experimenting with 1940’s hair. Here are the photos of the finished hair. I think i look rather super and wish i could wear it like this everyday. We are going to do a different era each week, so watch this space…
